With about 260 thousand inhabitants, Foz do Iguaçu is located at the extreme West of Paraná, in the so called triple frontier region Brazil-Argentina-Paraguay. The city is one of the most important touristic destinations in Brazil and the most visited one from Paraná by foreigners.
Foz do Iguaçu also has quality of transportation. The city currently has around 27 daily flights. The house of the waterfall also has one of the biggest hotel parks from Brazil, offering more than 28 thousand beds. Local convention centers are able to serve more than 29 participants at once.
The major postal card from the city is the Iguaçu Waterfall, a complex of 275 waterfalls that extend to almost 5 kilometers of the Iguaçu River. It is, without a doubt, the attraction that mostly enjoy visitors. The city also houses the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant, the biggest one when talking about energy generation, the Bird Park, the 3 Frontiers Mark and other attractions.
